Christian Historical Fiction:
This is an exciting story about a twelve year-old boy named John who has a gift to memorize Scripture quickly. His talent comes to the attention of the local priests and together they deal with a stranger who has come to their town, a man called Yochanan the Immerser. He is baptizing townspeople in the local river in defiance of the established religious order.
